Features Include:
The MSR175Pro is a robust, high-performance shock data logger specifically engineered for monitoring mechanical impacts during the transportation of heavy-duty assets and transformers. Built on the proven technology of the MSR175 series, this Pro version is optimised for high-mass logistics where short-duration, highly dynamic shock events are critical to capture.
The device features an integrated 3-axis acceleration sensor with selectable measuring ranges of ±10 g, ±20 g, or ±40 g. With sampling rates up to 4000Hz and advanced signal conditioning—including anti-aliasing, decimation, and high-pass filters—the MSR175Pro effectively separates relevant shock data from static gravitational influences. This ensures that transport-induced loads are assessed accurately, providing a reliable foundation for liability and insurance claims.
In addition to shock monitoring, the MSR175Pro records essential environmental parameters including temperature, humidity, air pressure, and light (see ordering guide to see which sensors are available with each model). The internal memory stores over two million measurement values, supporting a ring buffer for 1,000 shock events and a separate, non-overwritable auxiliary memory for tamper-proof recording of critical impacts.
Enclosed in a durable IP65-rated housing, the logger is powered by a replaceable Li-SOCl2 battery with a minimum service life of two years. The included MSR software package facilitates seamless device configuration, automated report generation, and detailed event analysis. This combination of precision sensing and long-term reliability makes it an essential tool for securing high-value industrial shipments.
