AITRON-816C Series

The AITRON-816C is a 15.6" industrial HMI designed for space-constrained, data-driven control environments where reliability, connectivity and edge intelligence are required. Built around the Intel® Atom™ x7425E quad-core processor, the system delivers efficient, fanless performance for modern industrial applications while maintaining a compact and rugged form factor suitable for continuous operation.

The system supports DDR5-4800MHz SO-DIMM memory up to 32GB and provides M.2 2280 M-Key storage with support for SATA or PCIe SSDs, enabling fast boot times and responsive system operation. Integrated Intel® UHD Graphics supports advanced visualisation and GPU-accelerated workloads such as real-time monitoring, machine interfaces and entry-level machine vision tasks. A dedicated HDMI 1.4 output supports display resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 30Hz, allowing the AITRON-816C to drive external displays when required.

Designed for seamless integration into industrial applications, the AITRON-816C offers dual 2.5GbE LAN ports using Intel® I226 controllers for high-throughput and redundant networking. Standard I/O includes 2 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, 2 x USB 2.0 Type-A, and 2 x RS-232/422/485 serial ports, with BIOS-selectable modes. Wireless expansion is supported via M.2 slots for Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and LTE/5G modules, alongside a Nano-SIM slot for cellular connectivity. There is also the option to add an additional 2 x USB 2.0 Type-A or 1 x COM port (RS-232) to suit specific integration requirements.

The 15.6" TFT-LCD features a 1920 x 1080 resolution with projected capacitive multi-touch and a 7H anti-scratch glass surface, providing a durable and responsive user interface for industrial HMIs. For demanding lighting conditions, an optional 1000nit high-brightness display is available, along with optional auto-dimming, optical bonding, AG/AR coatings, and anti-UV surface treatment to enhance readability and long-term display reliability in harsh or semi-outdoor environments.

Built with an IP66-rated aluminium front bezel and a narrow, true-flat design, the AITRON-816C is engineered for durability and ease of cleaning in industrial settings. The fanless architecture, wide 9–36V DC power input, and support for panel mount or VESA 100 x 100 mounting make it suitable for factory automation, smart manufacturing, kiosks and infrastructure control systems. A wide operating temperature range of –20°C to 60°C (high-brightness models: 0°C to 50°C) ensures dependable operation across a broad range of deployment environments.
