Users can choose between projected capacitive touch, resistive touch, or a glass-only configuration to suit specific operational needs. Resistive touch provides accurate control when using heavy gloves or in environments with heavy liquid splashes, while projected capacitive (PCAP) offers superior surface durability and impact resistance alongside responsive multi-touch performance.

Built with a true-flat front bezel and a Grade 304 stainless steel enclosure—with Grade 316 available as an option—the ViTAM-116 delivers exceptional anti-bacterial and anti-corrosive protection. Its fully sealed IP66/IP69K rating guarantees complete resistance against high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns, harsh chemical sanitisation, and particulate ingress. For secure signal transmission and power delivery, the ViTAM-116 incorporates industrial-grade M12 waterproof connectors, including M12 VGA, waterproof HDMI, and M12 USB with tethered protective covers. Membrane OSD controls positioned on the rear allow quick system adjustments, while optional integrated 2W IP65 speakers provide clear audio feedback. Installation is versatile and space-efficient, offering standard VESA 75 x 75 mm mounting alongside optional yoke mount kits for flexible positioning.
