VIKING-912B Series

The VIKING-912B series is a 12.1" (1024 x 768) fanless marine grade Panel PC that is designed for harsh marine environments where corrosion, vibration and shock may be an issue. The VIKING-912B is powered by an Intel 8th generation Core i3/i5 processor with up to 32GB DDR4 memory. It has a wide range of rugged/marine grade features and customisable options that make it ideal for a wide variety of maritime applications, including vessel navigation, monitoring & surveillance.

The VIKING-912B is housed in a fanless, rugged aluminium enclosure with an anti-corrosion coating, helping to protect it against corrosion caused by salt spray. It also features IP66 water and dust protection for the front panel, protecting the system from water and moisture damage. The whole series is CE/FCC certified, and features IEC 60945 marine certification, ensuring compliance with international standards and enhancing operational safety at sea. As a whole, the rugged design of the VIKING-912B offers 24/7 reliability, makes it easy to clean, reduces maintenance cost, and provides a long-lasting rugged solution.

It features a 12.1" TFT-LCD display with a 1024 x 768 resolution. The VIKING-912B also features a projected capacitive touch screen, which is a more rugged option with anti-scratch protection. Optional 1000nits high brightness, optical bonding and AR coating helps to make the screen visible in maritime applications where lighting conditions are constantly changing, even when exposed to direct sunlight. It also features an OSD keypad on the front of the system that allows the user to quickly and easily control brightness (0%~100% brightness control) and change between the three lighting modes (day, dusk, night).

The VIKING-912B includes: 2 x COM, 2 x GbE LAN ports, and 4 x USB3.0 ports as well as a DisplayPort that can be used to conveniently connect a second monitor. It also features expansion options with a TB-528 expansion connector, and a M.2 M-Key 2242 for storage space. The optional 2.5” SATA HDD is easy to access allowing the storage to be easily upgraded at any time. It also supports Windows 10 and Windows 11, helping to future-proof any applications that may be required.

The VIKING-912B also supports DC 24V power input with an isolated / AC power option, an operating temperature range of 0~50˚C (WT1: -20~60˚C optional), and shock and vibration protection enabling it to run continuously even in harsh marine environments that are constantly changing. Support for both Panel and VESA mounting (front access mount or mounting bracket (optional)) also makes the VIKING Series convenient to install, and allows the system to be ergonomically positioned for operator convenience.
