The BOXER-6649-RAP is a high-performance fanless embedded computer designed for demanding industrial and edge applications. Powered by 13th Generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors, this embedded box system delivers excellent computing performance with integrated Intel® Iris® Xe graphics for handling a range of industrial workloads, including machine control, data processing and visualisation.
Supporting dual-channel DDR5 SODIMM memory up to 96GB, the BOXER-6649-RAP provides the speed and bandwidth required for real-time operations and high-throughput tasks. Storage is equally flexible, with an internal 2.5” SATA drive bay for reliable long-term data retention and an M.2 2280 M-Key (PCIe Gen 4 x4) slot supporting high-speed NVMe SSDs, suitable for applications requiring intensive data access or logging.
The system features a comprehensive range of I/O for integration into industrial systems. Connectivity includes 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (10Gbps) and 4 x USB 2.0, along with two DB-9 ports supporting RS-232/422/485 for compatibility with legacy and serial-based equipment. Dual HDMI 2.0 ports provide support for two independent displays. For networking, the BOXER-6649-RAP offers five 2.5GbE LAN ports (Intel® I226-LM), including four PoE PSE ports, allowing direct power delivery to IP cameras, sensors and other PoE-enabled devices—ideal for surveillance, automation and edge AI deployments.
Expansion options include M.2 2230 E-Key (PCIe) for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth modules, M.2 3052 B-Key for 4G/5G modules via USB 3.2/USB 2.0, and a SIM slot for mobile connectivity. This allows the platform to be configured for remote, mobile or wide-area installations where reliable wireless communication is essential.
Built for industrial reliability, the BOXER-6649-RAP supports a wide 9–36V DC input with protection circuitry, ensuring stable operation in electrically noisy or vehicle-mounted environments. It also operates across a wide -25°C to 60°C temperature range and provides 3Grms vibration resistance (5–500Hz) and 50G shock protection, enabling dependable performance in harsh or high-vibration locations. Mounting options include wall mounting as standard, with optional DIN rail for easy integration into control cabinets or equipment racks.
With its strong processing capability, extensive PoE networking, flexible expansion and rugged fanless design, the BOXER-6649-RAP is ideal for a wide range of industrial applications, including machine vision, industrial automation, smart surveillance, transport systems and edge AI environments.
