The BOXER-8642AI is a fanless embedded Edge AI system powered by the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™, delivering up to 275 TOPS of AI performance. Designed for demanding industrial AI applications, it supports advanced machine vision, object recognition, and data processing at the edge.
Featuring eight independent USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, each running at 10Gbps, the BOXER-8642AI enables high-bandwidth peripheral connectivity such as industrial cameras and sensors. This exceptionally high bandwidth allows smart checkouts to acquire a greater number of images per second while maintaining data stability and quality. Dual GbE LAN ports offer reliable networking for real-time data transfer, while two DB-9 ports provide RS-232/422/485 and CANBus FD support for legacy and automotive equipment integration. HDMI 2.0 and micro USB ports ensure easy setup and deployment.
By combining high-frame-rate 3D camera input with the advanced object recognition enabled by the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™ and its 275 TOPS of AI performance, the BOXER-8642AI can precisely detect and classify individual items—making it ideal for applications like automated checkouts where accurate scanning and real-time cost calculation are essential for a seamless customer experience.
Built for rugged environments, the system has a wide range operating temperature of -25°C to 55°C, a wide range power input of 12V-24V and withstands 3.5Grms vibration and 50G shock, making it suitable for 24/7 operation in various industrial applications, including retail environments. Expansion options include an M.2 E-Key slot for Wi-Fi/BT and a 2.5” SATA SSD bay for storage flexibility.
