RELEASE - AVS-53x Series Industrial Machine Vision Systems

Interworld Electronics is excited to release the AVS-530, AVS-530QL, AVS-532, AVS-532QL, AVS-534 & AVS-534QL from Aplex.

The AVS-53x Series is a range of Industrial Box PCs that are purpose built for factory automation and machine vision applications. It features an Intel 13th/12th Gen. Core i3/i5/i7/i9 processor and two DDR5 SO-DIMM Memory (up to 64GB), providing it with the performance capabilities to excel in a wide variety of automation and machine vision applications.

With two 2.5Gbe LAN ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and four serial ports, it can easily be connected to a range of cameras and sensors. The AVS-532 features two additional expansion slots (1 x PCIe x16 + 1 x PCIe x4), and the AVS-534 features up to four additional expansion slots (1 x PCIe x16 + 1 x PCIe x4 (or 2 x PCIe x8 + 2 x PCIe x4)), allowing users to customise their system even more. Where additional control is required the AVS-53xQL, provides an additional two GbE LAN ports, two USB 3.2 ports and 4 digital input, 4 digital output, that allows control of connected systems based on digital inputs. Having a DP port and HDMI for dual display output, this controller can easily serve as the hub of an effective HMI solution.

The AVS-53x also features an M.2 M-Key, 2280/2242 (default), or two removable 2.5” drive bays (option) allowing it to easily transfer large amounts of data storage. It also has one full size Mini-PCIe slot, one M.2 2230 E-key for Wi-Fi / Bluetooth and one M.2 3042/3052 B-key, for 4G/5G, with onboard NANO SIM slot. It supports Windows 10 IoT, Windows 11 IoT, and Linux Ubuntu operating systems, and also offers additional options, such as a watchdog timer (256 steps) and six SMA for wi-fi/4G/5G/GPS antennas, providing even more flexibility.

The AVS-53x is a rugged, fanless system that features a tough casing (plating titanium grey aluminium heatsink and black steel chassis) providing protection in harsh industrial environments. It also features an operational temperature range of -20°C to 60°C for the i3/i5 processors or -20°C to 50°C for the i7/i9 processors and has a DC input range of 9V to 36V.

The wide range of features of the AVS-53x series, including the flexible and extensive I/O support, makes it ideal for a wide variety of applications, and the rugged design means that it will continue to operate even in harsh environments. The wall mount or din rail mount options, and having all ports on the front face, makes the AVS-53x even more adaptable to suit a variety of needs.
