Isolators / Repeaters
Isolators use solid-state optical isolation to provide an optical barrier preventing high voltages from destroying communications equipment. Isolators help to prevent damage from lightening strikes, short circuits and switching transients that are often produced by heavy machinery. RS422/485 signal repeaters increase the number of possible nodes that can be connected to a network.
