ViTAM-921B Series

The ViTAM-921B is a 21.5” (1920 x 1080) fully sealed IP66/69K Stainless Steel Panel PC solution. Just like other models in the ViTAM series, the ViTAM-921B has a wide range of rugged/hygienic features and customisable options. These features make it ideal for a wide variety of applications where hygiene and sanitation is a requirement, including food and beverage processing & manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing & packaging, biotechnology and cosmetics manufacturing.

This new generation Panel PC is powered by an 8th Generation Intel Core i3-8145UE / Core i5-8365UE onboard CPU and supports up to 64GB DDR4 RAM. The 21.5” widescreen FHD (1920 x 1080) TFT-LCD display is seamlessly integrated into the chassis with a true flat front bezel design. The ViTAM-921B also supports resistive touch, ideal for use with gloves or in areas where the display may be covered in liquid, dirt, or dust, or projected capacitive touch, a more rugged option with anti-scratch protection. Optional high brightness features also help to make the screen visible in increased sunlight areas, making it ideal for a range of applications and environments, including outdoors.

The ViTAM-921B is fully enclosed with SUS304 (optional SUS316) stainless steel which provides anti-corrosion, anti-bacterial, and anti-oxidation protection, making it durable and rugged, even when it is exposed to harsh conditions. It also features IP66/69K water and dust protection, a fanless design, and M12 connectors for the I/O ports (2 x USB2.0, 1 x RS-232/422/485, and 1 x LAN, as well as 2 additional configurable ports), which helps to prevent any water, dirt or grime entering the system. It is also able to operate under a wide temperature range (0~50°C) and is able to resist high pressure cleaning. These industrial-grade features provide 24/7 reliability, makes it easy to clean, reduces maintenance cost, and provides a long-lasting rugged enclosure.

Furthermore, to assist with cleaning of the display, the ViTAM-921B includes a touch on/off button that allows the touch screen to be temporarily disabled during the cleaning process. This allows the display to be hygienically wiped down without having to shut down any process control applications. The ViTAM-921B also features a range of versatile mounting solutions including, floor stands, swing arms, Yoke mounts, and VESA mounts, making it suitable for most environments.
