Interworld Electronics has released the BOXER-8251AI Compact Multi-core AI@Edge Controller from Aaeon. The BOXER-8251AI is a high-performance, low power-consumption AI@Edge system utilizing the power of the 6 Core ARM Carmel® V2.8 Processor and NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX technology. The ground breaking BOXER-8251AI integrates multi core processing and AI solutions into a single device.
Featuring a six-core 64-bit ARM processor, the BOXER-8251AI boasts 384 CUDA® cores, 48 Tensor Cores, and two NVDIA engines capable of running multiple neural networks in parallel. One of the most innovative features of the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX is the ability of users to select five different performance modes. These modes allow users to tailor the number of cores, processor speed, and power draw the system utilizes. Capable of delivering accelerated computing performance up to 21 TOPS the BOXER-8251AI is also equipped with 8GB of LPDDR4 system memory, one Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet connectors, four USB 3.0 ports and two RS-232 ports. An internal 16GB eMMC Solid State Storage device and an externally accessible MicroSD card provide operating system and data storage. A HDMI 2.0 output is provided for high resolution displays.
The BOXER-8251AI is extremely compact and measures only 88 x 75 x 39mm. Wall mounting brackets allow the computer to be conveniently installed in equipment enclosures.
The fanless design of the BOXER-8251AI coupled with an operating temperature range of -20°C to 50°C ensures long-term reliable operation in industrial and embedded environments.
The BOXER-8251AI can be powered from a 12V DC source. An optional 100~240VAC power pack is also available.
