Interworld Electronics has released the BOXER-6839-CFL Intel 8th/9th Generation Core processor based embedded controller from Aaeon. The BOXER-6839-CFL is a high performance standalone embedded PC featuring fanless operation, compact size, robust construction and extensive I/O.
The BOXER-6839-CFL is based on the Intel C246 Chipset and supports Intel Coffe Lake-S LGA 1151 desktop multi-core processors to provide a state-of-the-art embedded computing platform. The BOXER-6839-CFL is equipped with two SODIMM sockets supporting up to 64GB of DDR4-2666 system memory, four Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet ports, eight USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and six RS-232/422/485 ports for communication. Two 2.5" SATA hard drives can be internally mounted for operating system and data storage. System expansion slot options include: one PCI Express (x4) plus PCI Express (x1) or one PCI Express (x4) plus one PCI slot or two PCI slots. All models provide two Mini Card slots for additional expansion. The BOXER-6839-CFL provides two independent HDMI video outputs that support high resolution displays.
The fanless design of the BOXER-6839-CFL reduces the possibility of airborne corrosive or conductive materials entering the system to provide a long-term reliable industrial computing solution.
The BOXER-6839-CFL features an operating temperature range -20 to +50 deg C and a wide range 10 to 35 VDC power input making it the ideal solution for embedded vehicle systems as well as digital signage and factory control applications.
