Interworld Electronics has released the USB-AI12-64M Series High-Speed, High-Density 12-bit analogue input modules from Acces I/O. The USB-AI12-64M Series provide the ideal solution for adding portable, easy-to-install analogue and digital I/O capabilities to any computer with a USB port.

Three USB-AI12-64M Series models are available. The USB-AI12-64MA (Advanced Model) provides 12-bit resolution A/D conversion capable of speeds up to 500kHz. A unique, real-time internal auto-calibration system allows the card to continually compensate for offset/gain errors giving a more accurate reading. The USM-AI12-64M (Standard Model) supports sample rates up to 250kHz while the USB-AI12-64ME (Economy Model) supports sample rates up to 100kHz. Both the Standard and Economy models use a software calibration system, which can be run prior to acquiring data. All models provide 64 single-ended or 32 differential analogue inputs, 6 high-current digital I/O lines and a programmable 16-bit counter. Each analogue channel can be independently software configured to accept 8 different input voltage ranges. The counter can be configured in a variety of modes and has the ability to use external signals to trigger and control the scanning of its inputs.

The USB-AI12-64M Series are housed in a rugged powder-coated steel enclosure with an anti-skid bottom. OEM (board only) versions are also available. PCB size and mounting holes match the PC/104 form factor (without the bus connections) and is perfect for a variety of embedded applications. This allows the analogue input board to be added to any PCI-104 or PC/104 stack by connecting it to a USB port on the embedded PC/104, EBX or EPIC CPU module.

The USB-AI12-64M Series are USB 2.0 devices and are supplied with a custom high-speed driver with support for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows operating systems.

This small, compact, multifunction I/O board provides the user with everything needed to start acquiring, measuring, analysing and monitoring in a variety of applications.
