Interworld Electronics has released Sealevels' PCI versions of their popular isolated digital input and relay output boards. The 16ISO-PCI is a half size card PCI solution for digital monitoring where inputs must be isolated while the 32REL-PCI offers 32 Reed Relay outputs.

These boards are PCI board solutions for digital controls where on-board relays are required in test equipment, instrumentation, process control, satellite/microwave network control, audio switching and analog multiplexing. Both boards feature a plug-n-play auto selection where no address switches are required.

The 16ISO-PCI isolated digital input board is both pin-out and software equivalent to the input half of the DIO32-PCI digital relay cards. The 32REL-PCI is effectively two 16REL-PCI boards in one slot.

The 16ISO-PCI isolated digital inputs board has 16 optically isolated AC or DC inputs. Socketed resistor packs can be changed to vary isolated input range of up to 24 volts, with the board default being within the 2.8-12 VAC/DC range. The 16ISO-PCI offers a DB-37 female connector for all 16 inputs. The board has two 8-bit ports and takes up only one half PCI slot. Power and ground is provided on the connector. The 16ISO-PCI is PCI 2.1 compliant (can be seen past a PCI bridge). The board supports Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP.

The 32REL-PCI's read relays are more reliable than electro-mechanical relays in applications of high switch count. The 32REL-PCI comes with shielded dual breakout cable to two DB37 male connectors that each has the same pin-outs as the 16REL-PCI allowing users double the number of relays while taking up only a single PCI slot.

The 32REL-PC reed relay output features 32 channels with SPST relays. It has a life expectancy of 200 Million operations (low load) or 100 Million operations (max load). Its maximum switching power is 10VA, resistive load. The 32REL-PC has a maximum speed of 600Hz. It withstands 20G shock and vibration. Both boards support Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP for full I/O support.
